Boots, Flash Light, Posse Box, Vest could run you anywhere from $500 to $1000.00. You will need boots immediately. The other items you will need as the academy goes on and after you graduate. 2. Books, Water, Physical Training Gear, BDUs are all mandatory expenses during payroll processing and will cost you about $200 total. 3. You may want to buy an optional firearm prior to or during the academy. If so, a new firearm with 3 magazines, a holster, and a magazine pouch will cost you approximately $750, depending on the firearm you choose and the holster you want.
