how well should we know Spanish Posted Monday, December 14, 2009 at 3:26 PM I was curious as to how much spanish we needed to be prepared to know for the academy? I know you mentioned we would learn some in the academy,but is it in our best interest to try to learn extensive Spanish beforehand or simply learn it with most of the class during the academy? I would like to get as much physical and academic edge as I can before the academy starts in order to help ensure my success and Graduation.Any insight you can give is greatly appreciated |

RE: how well should we know Spanish Posted Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 3:47 PM We teach emergency Spanish for polish officers. This is not conversational Spanish. It is mostly basic commands and questions. Certainly, learning some conversational Spanish prior to the academy would be helpful but it isn't necessary. It would help with pronunciations and basic sentence structure however. |
