The best thing to do would be to be truthful about your past drug use, and if they accept you, great, but if they don't, its not the end of the world. If you are caught lying about it though, you will be disqualified for LIFE with Metro for any position. |

RE: Past Drug Use Posted Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 6:30 PM In the mini background check, background packet, the meeting with the detective, and at the polygraph they ask about drug usage. They understand that people have made mistakes, especially early in life, so they expect anyone applying to not have used illegal substances for a minimum of 3 years! Anything less than that will put you at risk. |
