Firearm question Posted Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 6:22 AM Academy SGT., My question is regarding using a personal firearm for the Academy and eventually on duty. I have a Sig Sauer P226 Navy; would this be an acceptable weapon based on stated requirements in the Academy handbook? The only difference between the Navy model and the standard P226 is the coating, which is an additional Phosphate coating to resist corrosion and wear. Thank you for your time. |
