oral board

I recently tested for the open Corrections Officer Test for North Las Vegas. I passed the written and phsyical parts of the test just fine but fell flat on the Oral Board.
I was wondering if you had any tips that would help me get ready the the upcoming test in March? Is it possible to visit the prisons and observe a few hours of the Corrections Officers job? Or even get an opportunity to speak to a few of them to get there insight on how things are actually done? Thank you for your time,
