If you successfully pass your oral interview, the next step of the testing phase is the Background Investigation process. Again, you will be contacted by an Investigator to schedule your background interview appointment. At the time of your scheduled background interview, you will give your P.H.Q. and Polygraph Booklets to your Background Investigator.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU IMMEDIATELY BEGIN TO COMPLETE THE PERSONNEL HISTORY QUESTIONNAIRE (P.H.Q.) AND POLYGRAPH BOOKLETS. YOU MUST ALSO IMMEDIATELY OBTAIN ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENT. FAILURE TO COMPLETELY ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS CONTAINED IN THESE BOOKLETS WILL RESULT IN YOUR INVOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL FROM THE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION PROCESS.
