In our February 2009 podcast, we talked to Martina Montgomery and Michelle Wilson, two female candidates attending the May academy. The panel discusses choosing law enforcement as a career path as well as the preparation and dedication required.
JANUARY 2009
January, 2009's panel discusses the issues female's deal with during the hiring process all the way through the police/corrections academy and field training. Included on the panel are Officer Sophia Gorup, Sgt. Bradshaw from the Background Investigations Unit, Officer Marla Clayton from the Academy Staff, and Officer Deanna Ruiz, a recent Valedictorian graduate from the Police Academy and current Patrol Officer.
