Set during Academy Class 5/2006, "Perseverance" is the chosen theme for these new officers as they graduate the Academy and move on in their development as a police officer. Highlighted are several graded areas in the Academy including the Field Interview, Misdemeanor Car Stop, High Risk Car Stop, DUI and Use of Force Training.

Set during Academy Class 3/2006, the Award Winning "Commitment" rounds out the LVMPD Academy Video Trilogy which includes "Dedication" and "Sacrifice." Together, these three words represent the attributes one must have to successfully complete the LVMPD Police Academy and become a Police Officer with out agency. "Commitment" highlights several aspects of the academy including: First Inspection, Physical Training, Practical Application, Patrol Procedures, and Use of Force Decision Making.
