The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Metro Volunteer Program (MVP) plays an important role in supporting the department’s mission by strengthening the connection between Metro and the community we serve.

MVP is committed to providing high-quality support services across Clark County by building a volunteer workforce that reflects the diversity, experience, and unique talents of our community. This dedication extends not only to residents, but also to the millions of visitors who come to Las Vegas each year.

Through cooperation, community partnership, and a shared commitment to service, MVP works to continually enhance support functions that help keep our city safe. The program strives to be a model for volunteer law enforcement programs both locally and nationally.

Volunteers are not used to replace sworn or professional staff. Instead, they enhance department efficiency and contribute to meaningful services that support Metro operations and community engagement.

If you are interested in becoming part of one the best volunteer programs in the country, feel free to contact me or submit an application and following these steps.

First Time Users Must Create a User Account by:

1. Visiting the application site
2. Select "sign in" at the very top of the page
3. Select "Don't have an account? Create one." (Please remember your log-in information in case you need to access your account at a later date.)

Interested individuals who have a user account can apply for a Metro Volunteer position by:

1. Visit the application site
2. Find the position listing for volunteer and click on the posting
3. Enter username or email and password
4. Enter your username or email and password
5. Complete the profile application, including all required fields designated with red asterisks (*)
6. Certify and submit the online profile application

Free viewers are required for some of the attached documents.
